Since 2005 Allan has been part of the founding team in some successful internet startups in Brazil. They include: Via6 (similiar to LinkedIn, but focused in Brazilian market) and Rec6 (Digg-like) that received venture capital from Confrapar. It became the 3rd biggest social media in 2007.

He also was part of the startups Direct Labs (social media consultancy) and Scup (social media platform for customer relations) that was invested by Grupo Direct and acquired by Sprinklr.

In 2010 he co-founded Kekanto (similar to Yelp) as CPO to lead all product-matters. Today Kekanto is the biggest local guide in Brazil and backed (Series B) by Accel Partners, Kaszek Ventures and W7

Besides Kekanto, he angel-invested in Rabixo (similar to Dollar shave club) and is advisor of Experience App (similar to Reserve) and Estante Mágica.
