Vitaly became interested in the field of user experience design during his graduate studies in cognitive psychology. To build his skill set, he spent a number of years at two of Israel's leading UX agencies, where he worked on a range of projects, platforms and industries, alongside the country's leading UX professionals. From this, he developed a passion for working on large-scale, complex organisational systems – so he traded the agency world for an in-house UX Manager position at an international enterprise software firm.

Vitaly is an avid fan of the UX.Stackexchange forum, where he served as one of its first moderators, and became a top 10 all-time contributor. He strongly believes there's no other online resource that can help a UX person hone and maintain their professional skills as UX.SE.

In his spare time, Vitaly blogs at – the best-known and the longest-running active private UX blog in Hebrew. His articles have been featured in Israel's press and online media. Vitaly has also been volunteering as a UX Mentor at the TLV Google Launchpad since its inception.
