Defines a template used for specifying information displayed in an info window. Info windows are visible when a map feature is clicked.

The template can either include an HTML body or a list of columns from which the template is computed automatically.

Property name Value Description Notes
automaticColumnNames[] list List of columns from which the template is to be automatically constructed. Only one of body or automaticColumnNames can be specified. If you try to insert a template using a column name that doesn't exist, you will receive a 400 error, with the message "The template has a bad column name". writable
body string The body of the template, which contains HTML to customize the contents of the info windows on the map. Column names in braces (for example, {population}) insert values from a particular column into the HTML.

The body is sanitized to remove certain tags, for example, <script>.

Only one of body or automaticColumnNames can be specified.
kind string The kind of item this is. For templates, this is always fusiontables#template.
name string Optional name assigned to a template. This can be any name you would like to identify the template. writable
tableId string Identifier for the table for which the template is defined.
templateId integer Identifier for the template, unique within the context of a particular table.
