Updates the name or type of an existing column. Try it now.

tableId string Encrypted unique alphanumeric identifier for the table.


This request requires authorization with the following scope (read more about authentication and authorization).

In the request body, supply a Column resource with the following properties:

name string Name of the column. writable
type string Required type of the column.

Acceptable values are:
  • "DATETIME": Date, time, or both.
  • "LOCATION": Place, address, latitude-longitude pair, or KML.
  • "NUMBER": Integer or decimal number.
  • "STRING":  The default type.
